Dylan Cuthbert’s Q-Games has been a PlayStation mainstay for nearly a decade. Its PixelJunk games were consistently stylish, cohesive, and engaging. In a disappointing contrast, the studio’s latest downloadable PlayStation-exclusive, The Tomorrow Children, is a bland, monotonous, inscrutable mess. Though difficult to categorize, the game consists primarily of resource gathering and city building, with some floaty platforming and clumsy combat filling the gaps in between. While that might sound a bit like Minecraft, the two games differ drastically in both their overall tone and their fundamental approach to gameplay.

New Study Reveals How Playing Video Games Makes People Feel

GameSpot parent company Fandom has released its sixth annual Inside Fandom study, and this one reveals insights into how people play and feel about games and general entertainment.

One of the key findings of the study, called The Power of Me Time, is that 54% of consumers spend their free time on gaming and entertainment each week. The study found that 80% of consumers said they considered playing games or watching TV/movies as a passion, beating out other popular interests like music (75%), food and cooking (52%), sports (44%), and travel (38%).

Oppenheimer Is Now The Highest-Grossing Biopic Ever

The creation of the atomic bomb has proven to be more popular than one of the greatest rock bands at the box office. Oppenheimer has made more money worldwide than Bohemian Rhapsody, meaning it’s now the highest-grossing biopic ever.

The Wrap reports Oppenheimer has earned over $912 million globally after its ninth weekend in theaters, in which the film hauled in another $12 million. That pushed Oppenheimer ahead of Bohemian Rhapsody, about Freddie Mercury, which previously held the biopic record with $902 million. Overwatch 2's Next One-Punch Man Skin Is Mumen Rider

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that another Overwatch 2 legendary skin inspired by the anime One-Punch Man will be obtainable in season three.
